Accounts Assistant. Our client a highly successful organisation based in Leicester are looking for someone to join to busy accounts team.
This piece of recruitment is being done on a temp to perm basis therefore candidates should be available either immediately or on short notice. Please note however this is a permanent role.
*Sales Ledger - Raising Invoices, Checking Prices, Reconciliations, sending invoices / Statements out.
*Sorting of Customer queries and dealing with the customer
*Processing of Credit Notes / Debit Notes
*Credit Control - Chasing Overdue debts
*Posting Cash to Customer Accounts & Reconciliations to Bank account
*Maintenance of Cashbooks & Management of Petty Cash
*Ad hoc duties as requested along with general office administration Inc. Incoming & outgoing post, Ordering Stationery & Canteen Supplies
*Helping with the Purchase ledger & Purchase payments
*Helping FC during Month end & other busy times
*Weekly payroll up to 50 employees (ideal but not essential)
The company operates on Sage 50 and Excel so experience of both of those pieces of software is preferred.
