Accounts Assistant. Our client, based in Leicester has engaged Paul Mitchell Associates on an exclusive basis to recruit an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their team on a contract basis to cover maternity. Being immediately available or on a short notice period, your role will involve the following;
*Check and process supplier proof of delivery notes and invoices via their own system and Sage.
*Support with processing of subcontractor invoices.
*Support with processing of delivery notes and invoices.
*Support with purchase card invoice checking and processing.
*Monthly reconciliation of supplier statements.
*Balance sheet month end reconciliations.
*Setting up contracts on accounting systems.
*Credit control duties.
*Deal with Customer and Supplier queries.
*Produce month end job costing reports from accounting system
*Represent the company in a professional manner at all times.
*Ensure compliance with company procedures and policies at all times.
*Any other duties as and when required.
Strong Microsoft Excel spreadsheet skills
Good understanding of accounting systems/procedures
Ability to communicate with all levels of personnel
Capable of working to and meeting deadlines
Attention to detail
Good organisational and administrative skills
Previous experience in an Accounts Office
Experienced in the use of Microsoft Office in general
Experience in the use of Sage 200
