Job Description

Our client, based in South Leicestershire, is currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant on a permanent basis.

Reporting to the Finance Manager you will be responsible for and assist with the following duties:


* Preparing supplier invoices - match, batch and coding
* Entering supplier invoices onto Sage Line 50
* Updating Sage records
* Preparing payments of suppliers
* Bank reconciliation
* Excel spreadsheets
* Company Expenses and Credit card reconciliation
* Supplier/Customer account reconciliation
* Sage Payroll 50 for 100+ monthly paid employees including Pension
* Maintenance of Holidays/Absences spreadsheet
* HR Administration of contracts, personnel files etc.
* Filing, Telephone and occasional Reception duties
* IT Literate


* VAT Returns
* Prepayments, accruals and journals
* Stock Taking
* Manage & Monitor stock transfer
* Deal with goods queries including liaison with suppliers
* Experience with Sage 50 Accounting Package
* Cover for colleagues within the team: reception, online orders, stock administration

This is a full time permanent position.
Salary £20,000 - £23,000 per annum
