In line with the company's strategic vision, we are looking to recruit a talented and dynamic area sales manager who will increase the awareness, specification and profitability of our existing product portfolio whilst looking for new opportunities to cross-sell our product lines together with the tenacity to drive forward the newer product lines into established stand-alone brands.
You will have proven sales experience, be target driven, have excellent account management skills and enjoy spending time within different market sectors, talking to clients to understand their problems and finding agreeable solutions.
You will be required to be fully conversant with all our product lines and to demonstrate a good technical and practical knowledge in front of clients.
You will be responsible for building, creating and maintaining a strong pipeline of new business opportunities covering the short, mid and long term prospects for the company.
You will possess strong relationship management skills that will enable you to work with people at all levels to sustain and grow new and existing account business.
Communication in this role is key to success and it is important to communicate and build good relationships with all members of the team.
*To grow the company business, meet agreed sales targets for the area and contribute to the overall team / Company success.
*To present the Company and its products on a technical and sales level to customers and specifics; i.e. Architects / Designers / Local Authority etc.
*To undertake formal presentations of the Company products to maintain and create brand recognition in the market place as well as developing a continual program of promotion and benefits strategy.
*To actively service and develop an existing client bank.
*To manage own area and develop sales opportunities in existing and new markets.
*To maintain and grow the current sales pipe-line
*To attend and contribute to regular sales meetings.
*To keep abreast of market information and continually communicate back to management on key issues that affects the Company's ability to perform in the market place.
*To maintain and update the company Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software package.
*To provide accurate sales forecasting for short and long-term budget purpose.
*To undertake Company administrative duties and reporting as required and on time.
*To attend training sessions as required by the Company.
*To attend and participate in exhibitions / trade shows as required by the Company.
*To ensure individual targets are met.
*To undertake any such reasonable duties that may be required from time-to-time by the Company.
*Proven sales experience.
*Sales experience within a similar market desirable, but not essential.
*Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, and the ability to communicate at all levels.
*Excellent negotiation skills.
*Enthusiasm and commitment to achieving success.
*Well organised with excellent time-management skills.
*Ability to produce and deliver technical presentations.
*Dynamic personality with excellent commercial awareness.
*Ability to collate information and write meaningful reports.
*Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office.
*Ability to interpret drawings would be useful.
