10434 - Costing Decision Support Analyst Job Spec
Our Client, an established manufacturing company in Leicester, is looking to recruit a Costing Decision Support Analyst for their Cost Accounting Team (Costing Decision Support) on a full-time permanent basis.
The successful candidate (part or fully qualified) will be an integral member of the finance team, providing business decision support to the engineering & commercial team. The role involves a variety of accounting functions and broad range of analytical work.

Responsibilities (incl. but not limited to):
*New & current product cost monitoring / reporting,
*Maintaining product costs on different financial systems,
*Project investment spend: expense & capital monitoring,
*Regional & model profitability analysis,
*Interacting with multiple functional areas to determine financial benefit of low-to-medium complexity projects,
*Recommending different courses of action based on financial analysis,
*Standard cost setting and analysis,
*Any other ad-hoc duties related to the role.
Required Skills, Experience & Qualifications:
*Working towards ACCA, ACA or CIMA,
*Relevant financial experience,
*Strong analytical skills,
*Excellent communication & interpersonal skills,
*Intermediate knowledge of MS Excel, MS PowerPoint & accounting software,
*Ability to independently handle accounting issues.
*Qualified in ACCA, ACA or CIMA.
*Salary: £28,000 to £33,000 per annum (subject to experience)
*Hours: Full-time Permanent, 37.5hrs Mon-Fri
*Holiday: 35 days (27 + STAT)
