Our client, a successful city centre organisation, seeks an experienced professional to manage its Finance Office. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing financial management to ensure that the charity's financial resources are safeguarded and to enable the charity and its Directors to meet their relevant legislative, regulatory and other financial obligations. You will be responsible for the Finance Office staff and be based in the City Centre.
You will ideally be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) or part qualified, with extensive experience of managing a finance / accounts department. You will have a proven track record of financial control, monitoring and reporting procedures and will ideally have had exposure of preparing statutory accounts. Experience of Sage accounts and payroll systems is essential as is knowledge of key financial controls. Experience of managing accounts within a charitable organisation would be advantageous, but is not essential.Part time hours considered.
