Financial Analyst 12 month FTC
Salary: £39,000 to £45,000 (Depending on Experience)
Location: Peterborough, Cambridgeshire
Benefits: 10% Annual bonus

A vacancy has arisen within the finance department of a well-known organisation in Peterborough.
This role will cover support to the sales and marketing team with a focus on analysis and administering of the sales incentive plans for both engines and Aftermarket. The role will also cover other analysis and support to the sales team including support dealer/distributor incentive programmes.

The role supports a global function, and financial transactions originate from multiple legal entities using a variety of accounting systems, making this a challenging role. This role will be the key contract point for the sales team in supporting the sales incentive plans and will be heavily involved in the governance process. Alongside support for the sales incentive plans the role will help support the wider team with analysis of sales information.

The main responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to;

* Monthly administration of the sales incentive plans
* Adhoc analysis and support to the sales team related to the sales incentive plans; including liaising with the key experts within the Business Resources and Sales teams.
* Support to dealer/distributor incentive programmes
* Working with senior leaders to develop sales incentive plan targets
* Providing support and leading project work within the sales support team.
* Adhoc analysis and support to the sales and marketing organisation

Required skills:
* Previous accounting experience
* Strong analytical skills, ability to take a detailed data set and provide summarised, meaningful analysis
* Confident in communications and presentation skills
* Good team player - interpersonal skills are imperative, as the role consolidates data from multiple sources and reports to a diverse customer group
* Fully Qualified (ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent) or close to Fully Qualified

Desired Skills:
* MS Excel and Access Skills
* Prior experience of business partnering
* Prior experience of budgeting and forecasting
