Job Description

10175 - Financial Analyst
Location: Leicester

Summary of Role:
This role is responsible for financial planning, analysis and management reporting for the UK&I based business. The role involves working closely with the UK&I Finance, Management, Sales and Operations teams providing reporting and support as appropriate. The jobholder also needs to ensure the integrity of the control environment for the UK&I based business and the application of company policies and procedures.

Job Requirements:
*Part of team responsible for Month End closing to a strict 3-day timetable,
*Ensuring the integrity of the period financial reporting,
*Preparation of Monthly rolling forecasts,
*Assistance with Preparation of annual budgets and Mid-Year reviews,
*Monitoring actual performance versus budgets/forecasts and reviewing/commenting on variances for the BU Finance team in Europe,
*Input of month end results and forecast to Hyperion,
*Application of company Corporate Policies and Procedures,
*Implementation of ICQ requirements and the application of standard processes and procedures within the UK&I organization and /or the respective Business Unit,
*Reconciliation of Balance sheet accounts,
*Provision of management information for Sales and Operations management,
*Providing guidance and support to the Projects and Service operations of the UK based RAS business including the monitoring and control of Projects, Recoveries and Inventory management,
*Support for the statutory and regulatory reporting of the company and relevant subsidiary entities as required,
*Working closely as part of the UK&I FPA team and assisting other parts of the function as required,
*Occasional weekend/public holiday working is a requirement of the role,
*Willingness to travel (up to 10% of role, mainly UK locations).

*Finalist or newly Qualified ACMA/ACCA/ACA,
*Proven relevant experience in a large commercial organization, preferably with a manufacturing /engineering environment,
*Excellent communication skills (telephone, face to face and written),
Good presentation skills,
*Ability to manage time and work to tight deadlines,
*Business systems used include JD Edwards / Oracle, Hyperion HFM, Microsoft Office (Excel/Access/Word/Power point), Sage.
