Location: Hinckley

Summary
Our client is looking to recruit a confident, organised Operations Assistant to work closely with their Operations Director, to whom you will report.

Job Description
·Compiling site information folders for the site supervisor for each installation we carry out (i.e. containing all relevant drawings, specifications and Health and Safety information including RAMS),
·Negotiating and making booking-in arrangements with our clients and/or shopping centres,
·Occasional booking of accommodation, ferries and other logistical elements needed to facilitate smooth movements of our site operatives around the country,
·Administration of our site operatives monthly time sheets,
·Assisting with the administration of and general scheduling of our resources, be that personnel or plant or vehicles.

You will be working on several live projects at a time, whilst ensuring the smooth running of the administrative side of the Operations Department. A pro-active approach to the business is required, along with the ability to confidently interact with all departments, suppliers and clients.

Education / Experience
Experience from a similar role, ideally acquired in the logistics department of a manufacturing and installation company, is all but a must. To function efficiently in the role, you will need to be an experienced Excel user, be generally IT literate and have an ability to learn fast and to absorb the peculiarities & variations relating to each of the different types of jobs, and clients, whenever you are exposed to these. If you have some experience in the administration and management of site Health and Safety rules and regulations, this would be a distinct advantage.
