10718 - Part-Time Accounts Administrator Job Spec
Our client, a manufacturing business based in Northamptonshire, are looking to appoint an experienced & personable Accounts Administrator to join their small friendly team on a part-time temp-to-perm basis.
*Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger, Credit Control,
*Manage obligations to suppliers, customers and third-party vendors,
*Process bank deposits,
*Reconcile financial statements,
*Prepare, send and store invoices,
*Contact clients and send reminders to ensure timely payments,
*Submit tax forms,
*Identify and address discrepancies,
*Report on the status of accounts payable and receivable,
*Update internal accounting databases and spreadsheets,
*Performing ad-hoc duties as & when required.
Reporting to: Financial Director
Required Skills & Experience
*Previous experience working in accounts & administration,
*Familiarity with bookkeeping & basic accounting procedures,
*Experience using Sage is ESSENTIAL, Pegasus Opera would be advantageous,
*Part or Qualified AAT,
*GCSE Maths & English,
*Enjoy working in a small close-knit team,
*Outgoing personality with a can-do attitude,
*Ability to cope under pressure and meet deadlines.
*Appointment Type: Temp-to-Perm
*Salary: £15,000 - £19,000 FTE (subject to experience)
*Hours: Pro-rata Part-time (flexible, between three full days to five part days)
*Core Operating Hours: 8:00am to 5:00pm
