Job Description

Our Client, a highly successful established clothing & apparel company based in Leicester, is seeking to recruit a full-time permanent Production Assistant/Product Developer to join their rapidly growing business.

Responsibilities:

*To co-ordinate with Design, Licensing & Production teams
*To place new development requests with factory overseas
*To follow up factory critical path & ensure critical dates are met with
*To be in charge of internal CP & update retailers with status
*To hold weekly meetings with factories in India, Turkey & China
*To help increase business with market research - identify best sellers, trends etc.
*To compile costings & help with raising purchase orders
*To help organise & attend meetings
*To become part of an internal hub & have fun

Requirement:

*3yrs + of merchandising/production experience in apparel
*Possess a good knowledge on fabrics, printing, garmenting, testing, trims - knitted
*Good communication skills - verbal & written
*Experienced in dealing with factories overseas
*IT skills - MS office especially MS Excel, PLM (training will be provided), Illustrator (preferred)
*Ability to deal with multiple data & a good eye for detail
*Knowledge of Licensing industry (preferable)
*Ability to measure samples/help QA (preferably)
*Right to work

Salary:

*£21,000 per annum + company bonus
