Job Description

Our client has an exciting opportunity for a young, bright full-time sales order processing administrator for a successful niche manufacturing company based in South Leicestershire. The position and salary package is ideally targeted towards a junior admin / school-leaver level.


Duties: during a typical day you would be required to…

* Process customer orders - confirming all information is correct,
* Pass on order worksheets to the production team on time,
* Monitor work-in-progress and address any issues raised,
* Ensure daily deliveries are dispatched correctly and on time,
* Make sure sales invoices are raised at the same time as delivery notes,
* Answering the phone, dealing with customer queries / order changes,
* General related administration duties.


Requirements: you must…

* Be customer focused! Able to deal with a large client database,
* Be able to absorb, memorise & organise information to a high degree of accuracy,
* Have excellent interpersonal & communication skills - both verbal and written and possess an excellent phone manner,
* Be multi-task orientated, and be good at problem-solving,
* Be adaptable to change, with the ability to work to specific targets and deadlines,
* Have the ability to work solely and as part of a team.

**Good sales administration experience would be advantageous, but not essential**

***Own car / transport is essential***

Package:
Salary: £15,000 - £16,000 (c. £7.70-£8.20 per hour)
Hours: Mon-Fri 10:00am to 5:00/6:00pm
Holiday: 20 days + Statutory
