Ben Marmon at Paul Mitchell Associates is working with a forward-thinking and innovative company in Northamptonshire, who are recruiting for a Senior Logistics Administrator on a full-time and permanent basis. Depending on the person Part-time hours may also be available.
This position of Senior Logistics Administrator will report into the HR Manager and also the Payroll Manager and will form a core part of the Admin team.
The hours of work are Monday to Friday 09:00-17:00.
The salary offered will be circa £22,000 depending upon experience.
Duties will include;
*Record all company absences on in-house system
*Record all employee holidays on in-house system
*Collate employee objectives and objective review meeting dates
*Collate completed annual appraisals
*Collate annual job description reviews
*Assist in administration of new starters and leavers
*Administer annual audit covering employee details, driving license, VDU's and company equipment
*Ensure all employee personnel files are kept up to date
*Provide support in updating and maintaining the company employee handbook
*Ensure all weekly movements for all staff are received and the movement's spreadsheet is updated to reflect these movements in a timely manner
*Deal with all administration in relation to company vehicles, this includes new vehicle leases, contract lease monitoring, employee weekly mileage, monthly vehicle checks and P46 forms
*Deal with travel arrangements for all employees
*Undertake ad hoc duties and provide support / cover to the PA to MD in relation to HR duties as and when required
*Act at all times with a consistent and serious attitude to Health & Safety matters
*Vehicle registrations, Maintain vehicle files, Check and prepare reports for internal and external use
*Utilise and uphold the defined administrative and record keeping systems, procedures and standards, ensuring compliance with manufacturer accounting requirements and the accuracy of all paperwork.
*Inputting data on to the system
*Liaising via telephone calls
*Other relevant administrative duties
We are looking for experienced candidates that have either worked in a logistics firm with a good level of administration experience. Or a HR Administrator that wants to continue with Administration and move away from the HR element of the role.
