12129 – Accounts Administrator (Part-Time) Job Spec

Location: Hinckley

Summary of the Role

Our client – a highly successful, professional services firm based in Hinckley – is seeking an experienced Accounts Administrator to join their team on a part-time permanent basis. You will be responsible for:  

  • Purchase ledger – check sums on costings, create & issue purchase orders via post / email,
  • Sales ledger – date stamp, authorise & process invoices,
  • Generate & issue remittance advices,
  • Credit control – chase outstanding invoices at month-end,
  • Reconcile credit card against receipts / expenses from monthly statements, source any missing receipts, code / number transactions,
  • Reconcile petty cash against receipts / expenses at month-end, withdraw additional funds when required,
  • Check sums on Budget Estimates, add project stages & costs on Sage,
  • Collate, record & monitor employee travel expenses & company purchases,
  • Review & report on company mobile charges / expenditure,
  • Figure checking from production quotations, final accounts & invoices
  • Upload invoices to client’s internal accounts portal,
  • Support with creation of Budget Estimates,
  • Review & recording electric bills,
  • General admin incl. filing, printing, paying-in cheques, adhoc Sage entries, ordering stationary supplies, meet & greet in reception.
  • Good IT skills incl. Sage 50.

 

Package

  • Appointment Type: Permanent
  • Salary: £10.00 – 12.00 per hour / £20,000 - £24,000 full-time-equivalent (subject to experience)
  • Hours: Part-Time (16hrs per week spread over 4-days)
  • Flexible working arrangements considered in line with the needs of the business
