Accounts Assistant - Leicester
Our client, a small manufacturing business is seeking to recruit an experienced Accounts Assistant.
Main Purpose of the Job:
The principal role of the Accounts Assistant is to ensure timely and accurate operation of the sales ledger, purchase ledger and cash book.
Key Responsibilities and KPI's
*Match purchase invoices and transfer via Excel interface to Sage purchase ledger.
*Raise sales orders on Sage 200.
*Raise sales invoices on Sage 200
*Raise supplier payments in GBP, Euro and USD.
*Input cash receipts to the sales ledger.
*Reconcile bank accounts to the nominal ledger.
*Raise salary and HMRC payments.
*Send payroll instructions to payroll agency.
*Credit control if required
*Manage company travel expenses.
*Other administrative tasks as required
*Part Hybrid working available
Experience of working in an accounts role in a SME business
Attention to detail
Good GCSE results including Maths
Ideally part or fully qualified AAT qualification
Salary Range £23K-25K
Holidays 25 days + Statutory days
Hours 8.00 to 4.30 Monday to Thursday, 8.0 to 1.30 Friday
09.00 to 5.00
