Accounts Assistant
Our client is a highly successful and busy firm seeking an experienced person for a c.3 months temp booking.
Tasks and Job Description
- Full working knowledge of the Sales Ledger
- Full working knowledge of the Purchase Ledger
- Preparing and posting Monthly accruals and prepayment
- Working experience of multi-currency transactions an advantage (GBP, EUR and USD)
- Bank reconciliations
- Maintenance of Fixed Assets register
- Assisting in the preparation of VAT returns
- Assisting in the preparation of balance sheet recs
- Working experience of the nominal ledger and coding system
- Some experience in stock and GIT reports analysis
- Knowledge of the P & L in other to process Monthly and weekly journals

- Must be able to multitask
- Able to use their initiative but know when to ask for help
- Team player with a can-do attitude
- Must possess issues resolution skills
- Analytical and must be resilient
- Must possess investigative skills to be able to identify appropriate solutions
- Advanced excel skills essential
- Some experience in stock and GIT reports analysis
- Ability to work under pressure in order to meet deadlines
