12110 – Accounts Assistant Job Spec

Location: Market Harborough

Summary of the Role

Our client – a niche manufacturer based in Harborough – is seeking an experienced accounts assistant on a full-time permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Financial Controller

  • Assisting with administering subcontractor payments,
  • Assisting with purchase ledger,
  • Assist with Processing the monthly payroll,
  • Weekly & ad-hoc supplier payment runs,
  • Data entry,
  • Assist with Processing employee expenses,
  • Assist with Bank reconciliations,
  • Help with Credit control,
  • Support with VAT, CIS, RTI submissions,

The Right Person

  • Minimum of 2-years’ experience in line with the duties above,
  • Experience with CIS would an advantage, but not essential
  • Effective communication skills,
  • Attention to detail.
  • IT skills incl. Sage & Microsoft Excel.

Package

  • Appointment Type: Permanent (based in-house)
  • Salary: £20,000 - £23,000 (subject to experience)
  • Hours: Full-Time
  • Holiday: 20-Days + Bank Holidays
  • Holiday Buy-Back Scheme (up to 10-Days)
  • Auto-Enrolment Pension
