Our client a successful well established wholesale and distribution company which has been named in the Top 200 Businesses in Leicestershire multiple times (most recently in 2017) are looking to add an Accounts Assistant to the small friendly team.
The company has experienced steady growth and now need to bolster their ranks with an addition to the Finance Team.
Responsibilities & Roles
*Preparing sales invoices using Sage.
*Preparing delivery notes for each delivery to and from the warehouse.
*Managing the stock control system, ensuring it is kept up to date using Sage and Microsoft Excel.
*Working with 3 warehouse staff and ensuring they are clear on the stock that is required in each delivery.
*Chasing payments from suppliers.
*Supporting the managing directors where needed.
*Implementing new processes to improve the efficiency of the company.
*Potentially eventually taking over from the responsibilities of the external bookkeeper.
*Desire to work in a growing company and willingness to work on a variety of tasks.
*Ideally have experience in working with Sage and Microsoft Excel and be competent at learning new IT systems/programs.
Potential for study support if the right candidate is found and they demonstrate capability in the role.
