Job Description

Our client, a medium to large multi-site retailer based in Leicester, is currently recruiting for an Assistant Payroll Manager on a permanent basis, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing organisation, with a clear planned progression route to Group Payroll Manager in the future, this role is being recruited with succession planning in mind.

Main areas of responsibility:

* Hands on management of multiple Payrolls for this multi site business
* Management of 1 member of staff
* Dealing with all elements of Payroll, calculating hours, dealing with P45's, P46's, P60's, P11D's, SSP, SMP and any other deductions
* Managing Pension process
* Resolving queries with staff, HMRC and Pension provider
* Ensuring all relevant payments are made in a timely fashion
* RTI and PAYE reporting
* Process development
* Adhoc reporting

The person

* Highly experienced Payroll professional
* Payroll Qualifications not required but an added bonus
* Looking for a progressive role to Manager
