Buying Administrator

Location: East Midlands, Leicestershire, City of Leicester

Job Type: 5 month Contract, Full-Time

Salary: £25,000 Per annum

The Job:

  • Following procurement policies and procedures
  • Support the Procurement Team in delivering training to staff on procurement practices and use of the purchase request/purchase order system
  • Sourcing and purchasing a diverse range of products and materials
  • Build positive working relationships within the business
  • Support in all areas of procurement including negotiating contracts and commercial terms with suppliers.
  • Ensure that all departments are fully informed of preferred suppliers
  • Identify and research potential new suppliers
  • To ensure all procurement related queries are dealt with efficiently
  • Raising purchase requests as required.
  • Setting up new suppliers 

The Candidate:

  • Proven experience in a similar buying or procurement role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Be Immediately Available or on Short Notice

The Job:

  • Salary £25,000 per annum
  • 5 month Fixed Term Contract
