Buying Administrator
Location: East Midlands, Leicestershire, City of Leicester
Job Type: 5 month Contract, Full-Time
Salary: £25,000 Per annum
The Job:
- Following procurement policies and procedures
- Support the Procurement Team in delivering training to staff on procurement practices and use of the purchase request/purchase order system
- Sourcing and purchasing a diverse range of products and materials
- Build positive working relationships within the business
- Support in all areas of procurement including negotiating contracts and commercial terms with suppliers.
- Ensure that all departments are fully informed of preferred suppliers
- Identify and research potential new suppliers
- To ensure all procurement related queries are dealt with efficiently
- Raising purchase requests as required.
- Setting up new suppliers
The Candidate:
- Proven experience in a similar buying or procurement role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Be Immediately Available or on Short Notice
The Job:
- Salary £25,000 per annum
- 5 month Fixed Term Contract
