Job Description

Our Client, a well-established engineering company in Daventry, is seeking to recruit an experienced Company Accountant on a full-time permanent basis to manage its' finance team.

Reporting directly to the MD, the successful candidate will oversee and manage the Company's accounts encompassing Cost Accounting, Sales & Purchase Ledgers, Credit Control, Banking, Bank Reconciliations, VAT Returns & Payroll. You must be able to prepare VAT Returns & Payroll including all online reporting to HMRC (incl. auto-enrolment). You will also be managing Accruals & Prepayments, Journals & the Nominal Ledger as well as preparing Accounts to Trial Balance stage and Monthly Management Accounts.

Skills / Experience
_Excellent experience overseeing & managing all accounting & payroll processes for an SME company,
_Essential: costing / accounts experience from a manufacturing / engineering background,
_Preferred: part or fully-qualified CIMA, ACCA or equivalent. Qualified by experience will also be considered
_Systems: Sage Line 50, Sage Payroll, MS Excel.


Salary
_Appointment Type: Permanent
_Salary: Negotiable, circa £30-£40K subject to experience
_Hours: Full-time, Mon-Thu 9:00am - 5:00pm, Fri 9:00am - 4:00pm
_Holiday: 31 Days FTE (23 + STAT)
_Pension
_On-site parking
