Our client, a rapidly expanding business, part of an international group is seeking a Credit Risk Analyst to join its growing team.
The position of Credit Risk Analyst will be to support the recently established finance team
managing customer & business risk, underwriting & overall governance & compliance of
This role will be accountable for supporting credit control activities, and being responsible
for underwriting the credit risk of small to medium sized businesses for trade account
credit applications, whilst monitoring a portfolio of existing customers credit limits.
You will be required to review financial & non-financial information to complete company
risk assessments to ensure the risk of any loss to the business is minimised on accepting
new business & retaining existing relationships.
*Gather relevant information needed to complete compliant credit reviews
*Underwriting of new Trade account applications & existing relationships
*requesting credit changes
*Ability to assess & determine customer credit worthiness, approve / reject
*applications with confidence
*Conduct & monitor credit investigations for chargebacks, disputes & fraud.
*Support in managing existing debt recovery and proactively contacting customers
*regarding overdue balances.
*Participate in identifying problem area's & support in developing resolutions.
*Performs other duties as required to support the Finance team where needed to
*accomplish continuous improvement objectives within the department.
*Confidence to manage difficult situations
*Strong attention to detail
*Excellent organisational and verbal communication skills
*Commercial (B2B & B2C) credit risk experience
