Data Administration Team Leader

Our client is a highly successful large Leicestershire company with an enviable reputation. It is seeking to recruit for an experienced Team Leader for Data Administration.

The Role

*To manage the workload of 4 team members ensuring timely compliance set out in our service level agreement with the various business units
*Work closely with the SSC Financial Accounting Manager on data cleansing projects prior to going live with Oracle Fusion
*Liaise with the procurement team to ensure our Group Preferred Suppliers are set up correctly in Oracle (including payment terms)
*Challenge and improve the supplier and subcontractor on-boarding process to ensure Oracle sub-contractor profile are aligned.
*Assist with various SSC projects, including Prompt Payment Code compliance, assessment of contingent worker status and supplier categorisation.
*Manage the procurement card process with Barclaycard and various Business units ensuring on-time information is fed into the procurement card module.

*Provide weekly stats on new suppliers/subcontractors/customers, amendments and iSupplier set-ups
*Review, advise and report on any potential fraudulent attempts
*Agree targets for data cleansing and report weekly on progress
*Ensure the Oracle project deadlines are adhered to, checking and providing data when requested by the project team

The Person

*Ability to work in an environment of change and to communicate/collaborate at all levels.
*Customer focussed and an appreciation of the concept of Shared Service Centres
*Ability to quickly understand processes and commitment to continuous process improvement.
*A team player able to develop and maintain excellent working relationships with colleagues
*Well organised with good time management skills, able to deliver to deadlines

*Previous Data Administration experience, preferably as a team leader
*Knowledge of SSC processes (AP/SC/GL etc)
*Knowledge of Oracle/Fusion an advantage
*Competent Microsoft Office user (Word; PowerPoint; Outlook)
*Advanced Excel user
*Good understanding of potentially fraudulent activities
* SOME REMOTE WORKING AVAILABLE
* Salary c £30,000
