Overview
We are a renowned manufacturing company. Based in South Leicestershire, we are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Ecommerce Coordinator to join its team,

  • Location: Site-based
  • Salary: Circa £28,000 per annum.Reporting to the Marketing Manager This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth of our online sales and play a key role in our ecommerce operations.

Responsibilities
As an Ecommerce Coordinator, you will be responsible for:

  • Order & Inventory Management:

    • Processing, packing, and shipping all orders promptly.
    • Maintaining accurate inventory levels and ensuring efficient order fulfilment.
  • Customer Service:

    • Responding to customer enquiries and resolving issues effectively.
    • Managing customer complaints to ensure satisfaction.
  • Product Management:

    • Updating and optimising product listings on the ecommerce platform.
    • Ensuring accurate product information and high-quality imagery.
  • Data Analysis:

    • Monitoring website performance and user experience.
    • Analysing sales data and generating reports to support data-driven decisions.
  • Market Awareness:

    • Conducting regular reviews of competitors and identifying opportunities for range extension and website improvements.
  • Cross-Functional Support

    • Assisting other departments, including picking and palletising B2B customer orders and supporting production lines as needed.
    • Supporting social media content creation, marketing campaigns, and trade events.
  • Qualifications
    To excel in this role, you should possess the following:

  • A solid understanding of ecommerce platforms (preferred).

  • Knowledge of digital marketing, including SEO and content creation.

  • Strong data analysis skills.

  • Excellent communication and organisational abilities.

  • High attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of work.

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

  • A proactive and adaptable approach to learning and problem-solving.

  • Physical capability to perform manual labour and handling tasks.

Day-to-Day
Your typical day will involve:

  • Managing and fulfilling online orders, including picking, packing, and shipping.
  • Responding to customer queries and resolving any issues promptly.
  • Updating and optimising product listings to ensure accuracy and appeal.
  • Monitoring website performance and analysing sales data to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Collaborating with the marketing team to execute campaigns and enhance the customer journey.
  • Supporting other departments as needed, including assisting with production and marketing activities.
