10502 - Finance Business Partner Job Spec
Our Client, an established manufacturing company based in Northamptonshire, are seeking to recruit a Finance Business Partner on a full-time permanent basis.
Working within the Finance function, you will be business partnering with plant leadership teams by producing high quality reporting, enabling teams to understand their P&L's and thus make financially impacted decisions proactively.
You will also understand and build business partner relationships, provide clear insight, focus on a weekly reporting detail, getting under the skin of the day to day operations of the plants with a clear priority to support and challenge the financial effectiveness of the operations

*Reporting on yields, including supporting the delivery of improvement plans,
*Direct labour reporting and challenging spend appropriately,
*Tracking, challenging & reporting of engineering expenditure,
*Ensuring the accurate preparation of management accounts for plants and central cost centres,
*Maintaining rolling cost centre forecasts, enabling early warn or R&O by cost area,
*Maintaining KPI trackers and performance dashboards.
*Quality & Compliance Managers
*Experience working in a Finance Analyst, FP&A or Commercial finance environment,
*FMCG, retail, wholesale or food manufacturing background preferable, not essential,
*Strong experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX2012R3 and Exceedra, or similar ERP systems.
Qualifications / Skills
*Strong academic background, ideally degree-level educated and recently qualified, OR working towards a recognised accountancy qualification (i.e. CIMA/ACCA/ACA),
*Strong analytical / advanced MS Excel skills are essential,
*Experience of dealing with stakeholders inside & outside of finance,
*Effective communication skills across the team and externally where appropriate.
*Trustworthy and reliable,
*An attention to detail and providing insight from ambiguous data sets is required,
*Self-motivated, resourceful and taking a proactive approach to problem solving,
*Ability to convey financial information accurately, briefly and simply,
*Willingness to learn and continually develop into a fully rounded finance professional.

*Salary: circa £35,000 - £42,000 per annum (subject to experience)
*Hours: 35 hours per week (Mon-Fri 9:00am to 5:00pm with 1hr lunch)
