FINANCE DIRECTOR

Leicester | £75,000 - £100,000 + Bonus| Hybrid Working | Permanent, Full-Time

YOUR ROLE:

As Finance Director, you’ll lead the finance function, ensuring financial control, strategic decision-making, and compliance across multiple international locations.

Your key responsibilities will include:

✔️ Overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
✔️ Managing financial analysis, reporting, and month-end processes.
✔️ Presenting accurate, insightful financial data to the Board and external stakeholders.
✔️ Handling UK and international tax compliance, ensuring deadlines are met.
✔️ Leading audits, statutory accounts, and R&D tax credit claims.
✔️ Managing bank relationships, business insurance, and financial risk.
✔️ Driving IT and process improvements to integrate finance and operations.
✔️ Supporting funding for organic growth and acquisitions.
✔️ Leading an overseas accounts team and ensuring intergroup financial accuracy.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

We’re seeking an experienced, hands-on finance leader with:

✔️ ACA, CIMA, or ACCA qualification.
✔️ Strong financial management experience, ideally within an SME.
✔️ Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
✔️ High-level Excel skills and a solid understanding of accounting principles.
✔️ Proven ability to manage tax, compliance, and currency complexities across multiple locations.
✔️ Strategic thinking with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
✔️ Experience leading and developing finance teams, including overseas teams.
✔️ The ability to roll up your sleeves and dive into the details when needed.
