YOUR ROLE:

As HR Manager, you’ll work closely with the Managing Director to create and implement HR strategies that support business growth, employee engagement, and compliance. Leading a small team, you’ll ensure the workforce is well-supported, trained, and aligned with company values.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Driving HR initiatives, from recruitment and retention to employee well-being.
  • Overseeing training and development, ensuring structured onboarding and career progression.
  • Supporting managers with performance management, employee relations, and compliance
  • Leading health & safety policies, working closely with the H&S Manager.
  • Fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

  • Proven HR leadership experience in construction or similar industries.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law, HR best practices, and compliance.
  • Experience managing health & safety and training functions.
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ideally CIPD Level 5 (or above)
  • Full UK driving licence.
