11536 - Interim Account Assistant / Credit Controller Job Spec
Location: Leicester City Centre

Are you an experienced accounts assistant looking to oversee the finance function of a burgeoning B2C retail business?

My client, part of a group of retail companies based in Leicester, is seeking an interim Accounts Assistant / Credit Controller to join their growing team on a full-time temporary basis (initially 6 months).

*Credit control, collection of outstanding debt, pre-legal handling,
*Reconciliation and production of ledger report for management,
*Sales ledger, allocation of payments, BACS, cheque etc,
*Purchase Ledger, matching and coding of invoices,
*Statement recs,
*Query handling.

Reporting to: Company Accountant

*Be immediately available / on short notice
*Demonstrable accounts / credit control experience in a commercial environment,
*Skills: excellent communication, customer service experience with good attention to detail,
*Knowledge of MS Excel and Sage would be a great advantage,
*Qualifications: NVQ, customer service / administration.

*Appointment Type: Interim
*Assignment Duration: Circa 6 Months
*Hourly Rate: £10.00 - £11.00 per hour + Holiday Pay
*Hours: Full-time 40hrs Mon-Fri 8:30am to 5:00pm (30mins break)
*On-site Parking
