Job Description

Our client a well established business based on the out skirts of Leicester are looking to appoint a Management Accountant to their small friendly Finance Team.

Over the last 2 years there's been a lot of developments within the business so the lucky candidate will be joining at a great time for the business.

The role:

⦁Preparation of the monthly management accounts for review by the Finance Director to strict deadlines.
⦁Balance sheet reconciliations.
⦁Preparation of the key performance indicator report.
⦁Cash-flow forecasting and modelling.
⦁Budget preparation.
⦁Dealing with Imports, invoicing processing, payments and reconciliations.
⦁Statutory accounts production and liaison with external auditors,
⦁Invoice financing monthly reconciliations and review of bank reconciliations.
⦁Work with the Finance Director in developing and monitoring team objectives and performance criteria.
⦁Develop and implement office operations and procedures.
⦁Establish standards, policies and procedures.
⦁To work as part of a small team assisting other members of the team as required.
⦁Production and submission of the Vat return and completion of any other statutory returns as required.
⦁Completion of monthly salaries and ensure all statutory requirements are attained.
⦁Review and authorise company credit card and expense claim submissions.
⦁Provide cover in the absence of the Assistant Accountant.
⦁Any other ad hoc analysis needed as required by the Finance Director.

The candidates we're looking for can be an Active Studier or even someone who is Qualified By Experience, our client is less focused on certificates and more interested in the candidates personality an ability.
