Job Description

Our client - an established and well-respected firm of Chartered Accountants based in Leicester - is seeking an experienced Payroller to join their practice team to manage multiple payrolls for their clients on a part-time permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

*Setting up new payrolls, new starters, leavers,
*Dealing with PAYE, online submission, SSP, SMP, AEO's, student loans,
*Processing payments via BACS,
*Year-end processes,
*Liaising with clients, partners & managers to ensure all information is received correctly,
*Auto-enrolment pensions,
*Dealing with HMRC, keeping up-to-date with all necessary legislation,
*RTI, informing clients on RTI and Pension Reforms.

The Right Person
*Previous payroll experience is essential,
*Effective communication skills, confident in presenting financial information to senior management,
*Proactive and able to work on own initiative with minimal supervision,
*Excellent planning, organisation & deadline time keeping skills,
*Strong IT skills incl. Microsoft Excel & Word skills to a good standard.

*Appointment Type: Permanent
*Salary: £23,000 - £25,000 full-time-equivalent (subject to experience)
*Hours: Part-Time (20-30hrs PW) - based in-house
*Holiday 20 Days + Bank Holidays
