12230 – Production Office Administrator Job Spec

Summary of the Role
Our client – a well-established niche manufacturing business based in Leicestershire – has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Production Office Administrator to join their team on a full-time permanent basis. Due to the location, candidates should ideally possess their own transport, though depending on where you live, there is a bus service available from some areas. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Carrying out shared reception & telephone office functions,
- Managing company diary for meetings, visits & events,
- Assist the production management team with administration functions,
- Management of stock control of stationary / paper goods, external contractors including waste, laundry, sanitary waste & couriers,
- Collate, record & issue customer / special orders,
- Reconcile invoices & orders, check delivery notes versus invoices & orders & book in all courier requirements for deliveries,
- Production of accurate invoices & delivery notes for all finished products dispatched in support of the accounts team,
- Maintain production KPI tracker with up-to-date information of service level and waste on a daily basis,
- Ensuring safe working practices are adopted in accordance with relevant health & safety legislation.
The Right Person
- Be customer focused! Able to deal with a large client database,
- Be able to absorb, memorise & organise information to a high degree of accuracy,
- Have excellent interpersonal & communication skills - both verbal and written and possess an excellent phone manner,
- Be multi-task orientated, and be good at problem-solving,
- Be adaptable to change, with the ability to work to specific targets and deadlines,
- Have the ability to work solely and as part of a team,
- Good sales administration experience would be advantageous, but not essential.
Package
- Appointment Type: Permanent
- Salary: up to £23,000 (subject to experience)
- Hours: Full-Time
- Holiday 20 Days + Bank Holidays
