12379 – Sales Ledger & Reconciliation Clerk Job Spec

Location: Hinckley, Leicestershire

Summary of the Role

Our client based in Hinckley is seeking an experienced sales ledger & reconciliation clerk to handle all aspects of the transactional processing & reconciliation of cashbooks / processing AR invoices on a full-time permanent basis. You will also be involved in supporting the testing and implementation of their new finance system within transactional processing and data migration. This will provide a great opportunity to gain experience and familiarity with the new system and processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Downloading / uploading bank statements,
  • Reconciling & balancing cashbooks & bank,
  • Deliver agreed customer service levels (incl. submission of cashbooks finance team within required timeframe),
  • Month-end reporting,
  • Investigate cashbook / balance sheet discrepancies linked to AR & AP ledgers,
  • Month end reversing journals,
  • Raising & processing sales invoices,
  • Processing AR receipts,
  • Creating authenticated receipts,
  • Resolving customer queries,
  • Requesting inter-company transfers,
  • Team inbox management.
