Office Based Full Time Permanent Position

Your Role:

As Senior Credit Controller, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring that our clients' outstanding accounts are not just accurate but paid on time and in full. You'll be the linchpin of our financial operations, reporting directly to the Financial Controller.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Proactively chasing late payments
  • Skillfully posting customer receipts on sales ledgers.
  • Monitoring debit notes and issuing credit notes when needed.
  • Crafting weekly aged debtor reports.
  • Navigating the intricacies of credit insurance
  • Setting credit limits for new customers and reviewing existing limits.
  • Managing invoice factoring processes.
  • Ensuring proper documentation for Letter of Credit customers.

The Right Person:

We're seeking a candidate who embodies the following qualities:

  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years in credit control.
  • Leadership: Previous supervisory experience is a plus.
  • Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills for building positive relationships.
  • Proactive: You're a self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Organised: You have excellent planning and time-management skills.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with ERP systems (Dynamics 365 preferred).
