Job Description

Paul Mitchell Associates are excited to be working Exclusively in the Leicestershire area with this International client to recruit a number of positions. This innovative Global Leader in their field are looking to add an experienced Senior Management Accountant to their team on a Hybrid Working basis (4 days home / 1 day in the office). The role sits in the International head office in London and is a key contact for finance teams across the globe. The role reports to and works closely to support the group finance team.

The Role:

*Responsible for all balance sheet reconciliations within the business
*Detailed analysis of business results including variances to plan and prior year, historic business trends, KPI performance
*Develop strong business partnering relationships with members of the International Executive team across sales, operations, commercial
*Analysis of complex provisions including accruals, provisions & reserves
*Support the preparation of the monthly results presentation for the FD & CFO including detailed commentary
*Driving key projects including cost saving initiatives, working capital improvement initiatives
*Managing & mentoring 1 direct reports in London and supporting finance teams across the globe
*Drive process improvements including shortening month end close process

The Person:

*Fully qualified, ideally ACA/CIMA/ACCA
*Worked within a multinational group and comfortable with foreign exchange translation
*Commercially aware with strong operational and business focus
*Strong IFRS experience
*A proactive individual capable of managing their own workload
*A flexible team player who thinks outside of the box
*A can-do attitude who leads by example
*Experience of managing and mentoring staff

Systems:

*Must be proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
*Experience in Oracle ERP - desirable
*Experience in Adaptive consolidation system - desirable

The Package:

*Salary up to £55,000
*Benefits: standard package including holidays and pension
*Expensed travel to the office
